About Three Sisters Race Circuit

About Three Sisters

Operating the North West's premier outdoor race circuit, we offer exciting yet safe karting events and driving experiences for individual drivers as well as small and large groups. Ages 8 and upwards will have loads of fun tackling the twists and turns of this challenging circuit, whatever vehicle they are driving.

The karting side of the business is run by Three Sisters race circuit ltd, while driving experiences are run by sister company, The Racing School. Both of the teams at Three Sisters are genuinely passionate about motorsport and it's this passion that ensures every visitor has an amazing and unforgettable experience.

A Bit of Trivia - The Three Sisters site was once 3 giant colliery spoil tips, known locally as 'The Three Sisters' and 'The Wigan Alps' and can be seen here.

Karts & Cars

Three Sisters is proud to boast an enviable fleet of pro karts and powerful cars. The twin-engine SODI karts are capable of speeds up to 70mph, delivering 100% pure adrenaline as drivers sit just inches from the ground. A simple 2 pedal operation make them easy to drive. A fleet of sensational cars are used for individual and corporate driving experiences including single seater racing cars and some spectacular supercars, including: Ferrari Modena 360, Lamborghini Gallardo, Audi R8, Ariel Atom, Aston Martin and more. What's more, Three Sisters is the only circuit in the UK where driving experiences are offered in a genuine Formula 1 racing car.

In the Community

Charity Ride Outs these are run on the second Tuesday of each month from March to November and normally start between 14:00 and 15:00. They are open to anyone who has road legal motorbike and a full bike licence, which you have to show on day. No need to pre-book, just turn up and pay on the day. It costs 10 for 7 laps of the circuit and you can do as many laps as you want. Full safety equipment is required (helmet, leathers, gloves). All money raised goes to The Three Sisters Charity to help local community groups. The charity has purchased some two seater karts for use with disabled people.

Supporting Fix It Fix It is an organisation that trains 14-19 years olds in motor vehicle studies, giving vital skills, inspiration and hope to young people who don't enjoy traditional classroom-based learning. Three Sisters gives free use of the track and karts to Fix It as a reward to the young mechanics for all their hard work and to celebrate their achievement at the end of the year. And it isn't just the students who gain from the scheme. Local people can also benefit from car maintenance and repairs which offer real value for money.

Race Meetings Supporting and promoting grass roots Motorsport in the local area has and continues to play an important role in Three Sisters. Local car, bike and karting clubs regularly host race meetings for their members, an opportunity for drivers to experience their vehicle on a real race circuit.
