Three Sisters Karting Terms and Conditions
1. A non refundable/non transferable 50% deposit & a signed copy of the booking form are required to secure the above. Failure to pay the required deposit by the due date will release the date for reallocation to another party
2. A minimum of 28 days notice is required to cancel bookings. Any deposit paid is non refundable. In the event of cancellation of a confirmed booking, within 28 days the full race fees will be due immediately
3. The balance of race fees and any extras must be paid at the event, cash/credit/debit card, please note all cheque's must be received 5 days before the event
4. The minimum billing applies even if fewer drivers actually compete
5. Payment for catering requirements must be paid in full 14 days prior to the event
6. Three Sisters Race Circuit Ltd reserves the right to refuse admission, to cease providing racing to any person
7. Three Sisters Race Circuit Ltd can not be held liable for cancellation of the event caused by anything outside their control
8. Drivers who consume alcohol prior to the event or miss the safety briefing will not be permitted to race
9. Parent or legal guardian must accompany drivers under the age of 18 years
10. If you are signing on behalf of a company or organisation you must confirm that you are empowered to do so
11. Helmets, overalls and wetsuits (if applicable) are provided for each driver
Driving Experience Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings for any Racing School experience placed by our clients. These Terms and Conditions replace any of our earlier terms and conditions in relation to our Experiences and no variation to these Terms and Conditions shall be binding unless agreed by The Racing School in writing. By booking with The Racing School, you agree on behalf of yourself and if not yourself, the driver to be bound by them in their entirety. The Racing School cannot confirm any booking until we have received full payment or a voucher where applicable.
Price and Payment
The price of a booking will be the price stated on the most current price list /website. Any subsequent variation in the Price agreed by The Racing School will only be valid if confirmed in writing to you. Payment of the stipulated price will allow you to reserve a place (if one is available) on one of the event days operated by The Racing School. We will be under no obligation to run any Experience or to reserve any available date selected by you for an Experience, unless or until the Price has been paid in full. Until such time, we may freely offer the available date selected by you for an Experience to any other party. Payment may be made by cheque, cash, credit card, debit card, or a valid gift voucher. All transactions are subject to a booking fee.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers purchased for any Experience are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless stated otherwise. Any Experience purchased using gift vouchers must be booked to take place within such period of validity, extensions are unavailable. We will not be liable for the non-delivery of any gift vouchers. This voucher may currently be redeemed at the following venues – Brands Hatch Circuit, Donington Park Circuit, Mallory Park Circuit, Oulton Park, Rockingham Motor Speedway and Three Sisters Race Circuit. Whilst The Racing School will try to ensure that you can use this voucher at your preferred circuit, there may be occasions when a particular circuit is not available. Under such circumstances The Racing School will operate additional dates at the other venues. On redemption of a multi choice gift voucher we cannot always guarantee your first preference of experience or venue.
Safety Conditions
You agree on behalf of yourself and the Driver to observe all circuit rules and regulations and all instructions given by The Racing School including our instructors. You agree on behalf of yourself and the Driver to observe and comply with any advice, instruction, request or decision made by us whether on the grounds of the safety of the Driver or any other person or for any other reason at all. You agree on behalf of yourself and the Driver that our opinion on all matters regarding safety will be final. You agree on behalf of yourself and the Driver that any Driver acting in a manner which in our opinion is dangerous, or may interfere with or disrupt the Experience will at our sole discretion and without further liability to us immediately have their Experience terminated without refund. If you are involved in any incident which results in the vehicle you are driving leaving the specified circuit course or activity area you will forfeit any remaining laps or experience time.
Where an activity requires the wearing of a crash helmet, this is mandatory and there is no exception.
Cancellation and Refunds
All purchases, including gift vouchers, are made subject to a 14 day cooling off period. After this time or in the event you cancel any experience you have booked, or if the driver fails to attend, no refunds will be payable by The Racing School. An extension beyond the expiry date of the gift voucher will be considered in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of The Racing School, and will be subject to a £25 charge. Extension will be for a maximum of 3 months after the voucher expiry date. Once a booking has been confirmed any amendments to the date or time may only be made up to 14 days before the booked date and will subject to an administration fee of £25. The exceptions to this is where a voucher has been extended and once booking has been confirmed no further amendments will be made, and the Formula 1 experience, where we require 21 days notice for any amendments and is subject to an administration fee of £250. You must notify us as soon as possible if the Driver is unable to attend the Experience. If you wish to send a replacement driver to take the reserved driving activity, we can accept substitutes up to the time of registration, providing they comply with all necessary criteria. We reserve the right to postpone an experience due to adverse weather conditions that may affect your safety or any other circumstances beyond our control, decisions regarding adverse weather conditions cannot be made until the day of your experience. We cannot be held liable for any associated travel or accommodation costs incurred in this circumstance. You will be entitled to book a replacement date within 6 months of the original booked date. We reserve the right to postpone an experience previously booked and to offer an alternative booking.
Cancellation Protection is available to purchase at the time of booking your experience and costs £10. In the event that you need to cancel your experience at short notice due to illness or accident of the Driver, or the death of an immediate family member, Jury Service & Armed Forces Deployment, then it may be possible to re-schedule the experience, full details available on request.
Complaints
Should you be unhappy with any aspect of your experience, please highlight this to a member of staff on the day in order to provide us with the best opportunity to rectify the problem. Complaints received after the event are required in writing and receipt will be acknowledged within 72 hours (or 2 working days). Please note it may take longer to resolve any issues due to the time it will take to investigate after the event.
Liability
It is a condition of this Agreement that in order for a Driver to take part in an Experience the Driver must be in a fit medical condition to participate in it and must sign our disclaimer of liability agreement prior to its commencement. Please note that some medical conditions preclude certain drivers from taking part in an experience; please check with your GP prior to booking your activity. Where the Experience includes any circuit activity of any kind whatsoever*, the Driver needs to have held a full valid driving licence for a minimum of 12 months (3 years for the F1 experience). Licences must be produced on the day of the activity in order to participate. *All Junior Experiences and High Speed Passenger Rides are exempt from this condition. The Driver must not have consumed any alcohol or banned substance prior to the Experience and we will be entitled to prevent a Driver from driving who in our opinion may have consumed alcohol or a banned substance beforehand.
Any Driver failing to sign our disclaimer of liability agreement will not be permitted to take part in any Experience. You are liable for ensuring all Drivers are sufficiently capable of understanding instructions given to them in the English Language on safety or whilst driving and we will not be liable in any way for any consequences arising from your failure to do so. You are liable for your family or any Drivers family attending an Experience and for their safety. Any provisions in these Terms and Conditions applying to the conduct of the Driver apply equally to any such friends or family. Pets or animals are forbidden anywhere on the circuit (except Guide Dogs). We will not be liable for any event or occurrence outside our control which results in cancellation and/or modification of any Experience from that booked by you or advertised by The Racing School. We have Public Liability insurance cover up to a limit of £50,000,000 for any one event and unlimited aggregate cover in any period for all events. A driver may be liable to pay for any damage caused whilst they are driving. The Racing School offers an optional ‘Damage Protection’ at an additional cost of £20, which can either be paid prior to taking part in the experience or on the day itself. This covers the driver for any damage to the vehicle as long as they are driving in line with the directions given by the instructor in a careful and controlled manner.
The Damage Protection facility is not applicable to all Junior Driving Experiences, Formula 1 Experience, Race Training and High Speed Passenger Rides.
Experience Timings and Descriptions
Drivers should arrive at the circuit at least 30 minutes prior to their Experience start time. We cannot permit anyone to participate in an activity without attending the preceding drivers briefing, so it is essential you arrive on time.
Experience timings and descriptions stated by our staff, agents or in our printed materials are approximate and should only be used as a guide. The Experience booked may involve some waiting time. We reserve the right at our sole discretion to alter or amend the content and/or vehicle of any Experience without notice. All Experiences are offered subject to availability.
