Junior Karting Event - 'What an experience'

The second Junior Karting Experience was held yesterday and the over-whelming feedback has again been incredible.  All drivers thoroughly enjoyed themselves and parents went away happy.

With the snow falling earlier in the day there were concerns that the event wouldn't happen, but that didn't seem to put off our intrepid Lewis Hamilton's to-be.  With conditions on the track proving to be slightly on the slippy side a 'pace-kart' system was set up and allowed the drivers to find the racing line easier and ensure that they lapped the circuit quicker and safer than they normally would have.

With the light fading late into the afternoon, the floodlights were switched on and the last sessions were held in a similar fashion to that of the Singapore Grand Prix !!

Whilst the refreshments were served and certificates given out in the clubhouse afterwards, Chris Nylan (a previous Rotax-Max (Novice) Karting Champion commented that some of the lap-times were better than we get the adults doing and were close to being that required to gain their race licence !!  High Praise Indeed !!
