Grand Prix Plus karting under the floodlights...

The second Open Grand Prix Plus Event started under the floodlights on a cool night.  The entry level was good with drivers vieing to get into the 'A' final rather than settling for the 'B' final.

The early pacesetter was driver number 1 (Ben Ford), who recorded the fastest lap of 51.97 seconds, only to be matched exactly by driver number 4 (Luke Murphy) in heat number 5. 

These two drivers were in the top four highest scoring accumulated points for their heats, however the driver with the most accumulated points was driver number 3 (Dave Keech).

The finals were closely contested with 0.12 seconds between the 1st position and 2nd position in the 'A' final, with a clearer winner in the 'B' final by over 6 seconds.
