The 1st Open Karting Championship came to its conclusion - but who won??

With the thunder and lightening striking all round the Circuit in the afternoon there were sure to be sparks flying when the sixth and final round got under way to conclude the first Open Karting Championship.

The weather cleared up, the skies changed from black to blue and the track dried nicely to ensure that the racing was as closer as ever.  With six or seven drivers still in the hunt for the top places it was all to play for.

As we have come to expect over the last six months, the racing was close; the competitiveness was high and the driving was spectacular - all in all a great finale to The Championship.

The deserved overall winner had led for most of the Championship and had been consistantly good, however the two runners up were within EIGHT points at the end.

The winners enclosure is as follows:

Championship Winner - Alex Seddon
