Bike Racing in the wet – there’s nothing quite like it!

Preston & District Motorcycle Club roared into Three Sisters for their weekend championship and it was the ones who stayed upright that won out.

The Friday test day proved popular, but the rain made things very slippery under-wheel with several drivers coming off; thankfully no serious injuries were incurred.

The qualification on the Saturday was a similar affair with the rain affecting the traction, but not the commitment. Sunday was all out for the win. The racing was close and competitive with the weather trying to make things difficult, but the winners were the ones that held their nerve and raced through regardless.

All results can be found by clicking here and Three Sisters is looking forward to welcoming back Preston and District on Saturday 2 October for their last race of the year at Three Sisters.
