Owner Drivers Pro Karting Event – 24 February 2011

The First floodlit race of the year saw 30 teams take to the grid and what a close race it was at the end. The first seven teams all finishing on the same lap and only 3 laps covering the top 10 teams. SAS stole the chequered flag this time round from McDonald 2 who finished a surprising 7th this time round. CPM came in second building on their 4th place from January whilst Lucas Racing came in 3rd, one place down for their second place last time out. SAS also took the fastest lap on the night with an impressive 46.86, only 0.04 seconds faster than Lucas Racing and CPM were only 0.01 second behind that .....all very close at the top!!

There was a good turn out for the first evening practice session last week and these will be running each month - dates permitting. The next evening test dates are in the diary and these will be: Tuesday 15th March and Wednesday 13th April - so spread the word and we'll more of you there again.
