Owner Drivers Pro Karting Event – 30 January 2011

With the December race having to be cancelled due to the snow, this was the first outing since November and the grid was certainly swelled with all teams chomping at the bit to get back onto the track.

With all the exuberance and excitement of the race there was a slight coming together at the first corner but this soon sorted itself out and the racing was fast and furious throughout which showed in the final reckoning with just 4 laps seperating the top 19 teams!

Mcdonald 2 carried on from their sucess in the November race with another win and Mcdonald 1 made it both teams on the podium with a finishing position of third. Lucas racing split them with a second place despite a black flag for speeding in the pitlane......which should have given an indication as they posted the fastest lap of the day with 46.89.

An evening test session has been set up for Wednesday 16 February 5pm - 9pm in readiness for the next race in February which will be back under the floodlights on Thursday 24 February.
