British Schools Karting Championship Regional Final
For the third year running Three Sisters Race Circuit has been chosen to host to North West Regional Final of the British School Karting Championships.
This prestigious event is becoming an important date in the calendar for many of the local schools who actively participate and see it as a way to reward those students who express an interest and who excel in other areas of their studies.
The 15 finalists, who are competing to proceed to the national final in Milton Keynes, come from a broad area across the North West from as far South as Buxton in Derbyshire to Irlam in Manchester and The Wirral in Merseyside. Each school is represented by 6 team members who each compete in one of the heats – the overall winners then proceed to Milton Keynes where they will face the winners of the other regional finalists to claim the National Prize.
The 2011 Regional Final is being held here at Three Sisters on Friday 4th March with the first karters taking to the circuit just after 2pm.
