Owner Drivers Pro Kart Racing October

18 teams lined up to relatively dry conditions, in comparison to last month, for the last weekday race of the year. Some high profile teams were absent, giving a few others a shot at glory. It wasn't to be for qualifying, regular front runners, CPM had the pace in qualifying setting a 49.279, with McDonald lining up 2nd just 0.079s behind. Lining up in 3rd, their best position of the year were the Hairbears, 0.210s behind the pace setting time.

Moving to the race, everyone got off to a clean start, with team 32, the Learners, putting last month's disappointment behind them leaping to 4th, the highest we've seen them since joining the grid. The pole sitter led the first 4 laps, before being overtaken by team 44, McDonald. This set the tone for nearly all of the rest of the race, with each team unwilling to fall behind. Early casualties were Demon Rouge 2

Despite the closeness of the battle at the front the race was remarkable in its lack of incidents. CPM did fall back from McDonald through the pitstop phases, however a storming final stint as McDonald pitted

Looking down the order finishing in 3rd was Ecolab, a welcome return to form for the team, who did actually forget to claim their 3rd overall place voucher! They won the Club class, followed by RA racing and Team Keane, who are looking to have got on top of their new kart.

Moving on we look forward to our next race on the 18th of November. It's been a great year and we've enjoyed seeing the new teams moving forward.
