Formula Ford scholarship
Three Sisters Race Circuit recognise the
financial stumbling block that prevents most people from
starting motor racing. It is a relatively expensive sport
and many potential champions will never even get to sit
in a racing car.
In order to give you an opportunity to show your potential
and provide you with a stepping stone to pursue a career
in motor racing we run a successful annual Racing Drivers’
Scholarship.
The Scholarship winner will win a fully sponsored drive
in the Zetec Formula Ford Winter Championship, with all
necessary testing and support from our championship winning
professionally run racing team.
Following assessments through the qualifying round and if
successful the semi final stage, a final twelve drivers
will be selected on ability and aptitude and invited back
for the Grand final.
Eligibility
The Scholarship is open to anyone regardless of age who
holds a full road driving licence, holders of MSA class
‘A’ licences cannot apply.

The
Grand Final (free of charge)
The 12 finalists will undergo further tuition and timed
test sessions in a formula ford single seater.
The panel of judges will then analyse each contestants lap
times and tuition marks and assess their overall suitability
to receive the accolade of a fully sponsored drive in the
Zetec Winter Championship.
All 12 finalists will also be given lapping sessions in
a Formula 3 Race car and our awesome Formula 1 car during
the 2 days final.
Finally, a presentation to the Scholarship winner takes
place. In addition, the winner will also be put through
the MSA novice licence course.
