James Toseland, reigning World Superbike Champion recently visited Three Sisters Race Circuit to give some local teenage motorcycle racers some valuable race tuition.
James caused a few eyebrows to be raised in 2004 when he became the youngest-ever winner of the World Superbike championship riding for the Ducati Xerox Factory team. The World Champion took a day out from his busy testing schedule to spend the day at the circuit where he first started motorcycle racing after several successful years in Motocross.
Event organiser Dave Smith from Liverpool based charity LYBRO was delighted with the day, ‘James was superb with the youngsters and it was very good of him to dedicate a day of his time, we hope they will learn from his tuition and maybe one day follow in his footsteps.’
‘We’re equally grateful to the team at Three Sisters Race Circuit for providing the track time for free, its been a wonderful day which has made a big difference to these kids.’
